I am currently a research scientist at Voxel51, pushing the boundaries of machine learning at scale on unstructured datasets. Previously, I built and led the perception group at Agility Robotics and was an assistant research scientist at the University of Michigan conducting research in robotics and computer vision. I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering: Systems from the University of Michigan specializing in Control Systems with a minor in Signal Processing, and I received my BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska specializing in Systems, Design and Controls with a minor in Computer Science. I also have extensive industry experience through a variety of undergraduate internships and full-time positions in the aerospace and scientific instrument industries.
